Introduction: We worked with Ammega Belting India (part of Global Conglomerate) manufacturing Belts for Industrial and Automotive applications. We implemented 5S and Quick Changeover in the Unit
What We Did: We have used our unique Gamification method and created various zones, Zone Leaders for 5S Implementation. Weekly Tasks were given to the teams and best performing teams were provided Rewards and Recognition for their participation in 5S. We have also conducted 2 workshops on Quick Changeover for reducing the setup time in their machines.
Results: 24% Improvement in the Productivity is achieved as the availability of machines improved. 5S brought a lot of positive motivation to the team and the overall culture of the company improved.
